Family Fun at the Supaloop Adelaide 500

The Superloop Adelaide 500 is set to take its family entertainment offering to another level in 2020.

The new look City of Adelaide Family Zone will be a hive of free family-friendly activity with new attractions, including the world’s tallest inflatable waterslide, The Big Wedgie headlining the activity this year.

The four-day event and family precinct will also host activations with some of South Australia’s favourite sports teams and organisations including kicking and handballing inflatables from the SANFL, Tennis South Australia’s Hot Shots Court, Adelaide United Football Club’s soccer inflatable goals and SACA’s Classic Catch and Single Lane Net activities.

Up to four kids aged 14 and under will receive free general admission to the Superloop Adelaide 500 with one paying adult with all activities in the family precinct at no extra costs. Families can also access a range of grandstand seating and junior ticketing options to suit their needs.

The City of Adelaide Family Zone will be hosted on the CBC Middle Oval (north of Wakefield Street) creating a spacious area that will include plenty of shade, a Chill Out Zone for families and kids to enjoy the fun and catch all the racing action on a big screen.
In 2020, fan favourites Rev It Up Racing’s racing simulators and Pit Stop Challenge, Karting SA’s display and Honda Mini Moto GP’s activations will make a return allowing kids to get involved in the motorsport action.

Another exciting offering as part of the diverse off-track entertainment at the 2020 event is the Moto X Step Up competition – a unique motocross competition that attracts adrenalinseekers from all over the world and sees competitors attempt to jump a bar as high as 55 feet.
While the epic musical line-up that will take to the stage post-race on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night strengthens the number of family activity on offer this year.
The after-race concert series begin on the Friday night with ARIA Award winners Grinspoon headlining the night alongside dance sensation Sneaky Sound System and Adelaide’s own The Superjesus.
Saturday night will feature fan favourites Pete Murray and Sheppard before the 2020 Superloop Adelaide 500 is closed out in spectacular fashion on the Sunday night when locals Hilltop Hoods, supported by Illy and G Flip, take to the stage.Tickets are available now, for more information:
