The Esplanade Hotel at Brighton is one of the best places to go in Adelaide with kids of all ages. It gets all the Little Lattes ticks – highchairs, change table, room for prams, kids menu, play area and activities. They have a playground for the younger kids, toys and a table and chairs. But best of all they have fantastic entertainment for the kiddies every Friday and Saturday night. On Friday nights they have a free face painter and balloon artist and on Saturday nights they have a free balloon artist and magician. Throughout the school holidays the balloon artist also appears on Wednesday nights too.
Kids eat free on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. There is all day dining available in the cafe and the bistro is open for lunch and dinner. All main meals and kids meals include the ‘all you can eat’ salad and vegetable bar. Kids meals are $8 and also include a complimentary glass of milk, orange juice or soft drink. Choices include; fish, grilled chicken breast, roast, calamari and pizza. There are gluten free choices on the menu for both adults and children. Adult meal choices include; pasta, chicken, roast, stir fry, seafood, salad and steak.
The food is excellent, the atmosphere casual and relaxed and it is very family friendly. In summer you can end the meal with a walk along the jetty or beach and watch the sunset. Definitely worth a visit!
