The Beach Hotel is located in the southern suburb of Seaford. Recently renovated the Beach Hotel has a fresh modern vibe and now includes a playground off the main dining area.
The menu is extensive and will have something to satisfy most pallets. The Beach Hotel provides table service which was nice. Water and bread and butter were also brought to the table soon after we ordered.

Kids have their own menu including schnitzel, nuggets, pasta, fish and if you’re looking for a heathy option you can chose between grilled chicken salad & grilled fish salad. My daughter had the fish salad on our visit and we were impressed that the salad was Iceberg lettuce, Cucumber and Tomato with no dressing – perfect for little ones. All kids meals are $8.90 and include a Zooper Dooper or Ice-cream with topping for desert. There is also a good Milkshake menu that would impress many kids.

The kids will enjoy the fully enclosed outdoor play area, but please be aware that this is not clearly visible from the majority of the dining area. We asked for a table near the doorway to the playground – we could see them most of the time, but we couldn’t hear them. There is no other entry in or out of the playground though, so it is reasonably safe. I would recommend visiting when you have an older child in your party or adults that are happy to take turns of supervising the kids to ensure someone is there in the event of a younger child falling or hurting themselves and not being seen or heard from the table. The upside to the playground being out of the way a little bit is that while you are dining you don’t have lots of noise from it, as can happen if there is an indoor play area within the dining area.
The play area is partially shaded by a sail, but would not be protected from wet weather.

There is a baby change table in the spacious disabled toilet and highchairs are available.

The Beach hotel is a nice venue for a meal with the kids, but if you are looking for a place where you can sit and relax while younger kids play this is probably not the place for you. Overall though we found it a lovely place to dine, the food was good, staff were friendly and the kids were happy they had some time to play in the playground.
