Outback Jacks Bar & Grill is very family friendly restaurant that offers relaxed casual dining. You can choose your cut of meat from the display cabinet, walk through the chilled wine cellar, watch the chefs in action with the open kitchen and kick back and let your steak melt in your mouth. They claim to have the largest range of steak on any menu in the world!

The menu is very varied. Meat lovers will be in heaven but there is something to suit everyone from nachos, salads, steaks, pastas, seafood and burgers. If you dare, try the 1kg rump challenge – eat it all in half an hour  and get a free Outback Jack Challenge T-shirt.

Outback Jacks has lots of child friendly credentials: highchairs, plenty of room for prams, change facilities, kids menu and heaps to keep the kids entertained. There is a dedicated kids room fitted with cool toys such as playstations, games & a huge blackboard that toddlers and older kids alike will love, please note that this room is upstairs and not  visible from the tables, so toddlers will need an adult or older child with them. All kids get a free colouring book, included as part of the kids menu and crayons to use at the table. The giant crocodile hanging from the ceiling and the numerous pictures of animals around the walls will be a talking point amongst the kids too. The staff are welcoming and used to catering for children.

The little kids menu includes Spaghetti bolognaise, nuggets, fish, pizza and a burger and these meals are only $3 with an adults meal Sunday – Thursday’s before 6.30pm. You will also find larger kids meals for $8.95. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (5pm – 7pm) the smaller kids meals are FREE and the $8.95 meals become just $3 each, so its a great value night out.

Note that it can get quite busy here and bookings on a Saturday night are essential.
