Our top picks for a Mother’s Day meal

I have put together a list of some venues that are offering meals on Mother’s Day and still have availability, if I have only listed dinner not lunch it means lunch is booked out. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Where: Rezz – 20 Hamilton Terrace, Newton.

What they are offering:  Breakfast and dinner in the Cafe, lunch and dinner in the bistro.
What I love: Great service, yummy food, enclosed kids play area off the café and television to view the kids area within the café.

Where: Willaston Hotel, 33 Main North Road, Willaston

What they are offering:  Buffet Breakfast 8am – 11am, $12.90 for Adults, $6.90 for kids. Dinner 5.30pm – 8pm, regular menu.
What I love: Great indoor kids play area, good value meals with salad and veg bar included and FREE cookie decorating for the kids at dinner.

Where: Soul Food Community Café, Shop 10, 414 Milne Rd, Redwood Park.

What they are offering:  Buffet Breakfast / Brunch runs from 8.30am – 12.30pm, $20.90 per adult, which includes a medium coffee/hot chocolate/pot of T2 tea, and a gift for the ladies. Kids aged 6-12 are only $7 and Kids 5 and under are FREE.
What I love: I love that you can graze on the buffet for as long as you like and you don’t have to arrive early as it goes until 12.30pm! I also love the kids corner that has lots of toys and books to occupy little ones. I love the affordability for kids meals too.

Where: Caffe Primo @ New York Bar & Grill, Shop 2027 Westfield Marion 297 Diagonal Road, Oaklands.

What they are offering:  Dinner – bookings essential. The chef will be offering some specials for the day and the full regular menu will be available.
What I love: The indoor kids play area and the casual family friendly environment.

Where: InterContinental Adelaide, North Terrace.

What they are offering: Buffet Breakfast and Al la carte Dinner in Riverside Restaurant. Indulgent High Tea at 2pm in the Ballroom, including fashion parade.
What I love: This is a very elegant venue, yet they are still welcoming and accommodation of children. I love the amount of care that has gone in to the children’s dinner menu in the restaurant. I also love that you can make a weekend of it and stay the night if you feel like really treating yourself!

What they are offering:  Lunch and Dinner, will their regular menu.
What I love: Indoor kids play area and nice family friendly environment.

Where: Whistler Wines, Seppeltsfield Road, Marananga (Barossa).

What they are offering:  Beautiful outdoor areas with free BBQ facilities or build your own larder platter. Kids packs also available and cellar door will be open for sales and tastings.
What I love: The playground, Kangaroo enclosure and the kids Treasure hunt!

What I love: A lovely little outdoor cubby for the kids if the weather permits. Baby cinos that come with marshmallows and a mini ginger bread man. Chocolate, Chocolate and more Chocolate!

Where: Appleseed Cafe, 30 High Street, Strathalbyn

What they are offering:  Meals, coffee & cake, regular menu.
What I love: Appleseed has a great indoor play area for the kids. The kids menu includes a lovely little tasting plate with carrot & cucumber sticks, cheese, ham and bread. Lots of options for different dietary requirements.
